1929: Ferdinand Bassi is able to purchase Haus Hermann. In the                            years that follow, it is renovated and extended. The electronics                    shop is housed on the ground floor and in a few rooms of the                          building. The rest of the building continues to serve as a hotel,                      which is let out by the owner.

1983: A garage is added to the east side.

1987: The entire ground floor is refurbished.

2009: Annette and Nicholas Woodward purchase the entire property                    and set up their business, ‘Home Sweet Home                                                              Innendekorationen GmbH’, on the ground floor. The hotel                                continues to be leased out.

2013: An additional storey is added to the building. A flat is created.

2016: After 26 years, the manager of the Hotel Touring takes her well-                  deserved retirement.

2016: The hotel section is completely refurbished and renovated. 17                          individually designed rooms are created. The hotel is renamed                    “Home Hotel” and celebrates its opening on 8 December 2016.                       The new breakfast room is a structure built on top of the                                   existing garage.

2020: The “Corner Design Room” is fitted with a new balcony and                            the existing ones are renovated. New artworks by Gabriella                          “Csanyi” Wills and Thomas Grond are displayed on the                                       balconies.

2022: The “Mountain Gold” apartment is created, making it the 18th                       room.

The ‘breakfast room’ is converted into a dining                            room. Together with the traditional style of the Arvenstübli,                            formerly part of the Touring, the dining room forms the new                          Charlie’s restaurant.
